Carpet freshener recipe!

Here is a recipe we use in our home. A great way to freshen a room much cheaper than the carpet fresheners at the store.

This makes a nice batch of carpet freshener that will last quite awhile. 

You can cut the amounts down if you like until you find your favorite blend.

Ingredients:

3 cups baking soda 
1/2 cup cornstarch
10 - 15 drops of your choice of essential oil (Lavender, Eucalyptus, Etc.)
1/2 cup borax (20 mule team) optional

Directions:

• Mix well and store in an airtight plastic or glass container. Set aside for a couple days before using. Sprinkle generously on carpet and let sit for about 15 minutes before vacuuming.
