Today was a great day!

Last week Saturday we attended Sputnikfest in Manitowoc, WI as a vendor.

The turnout was great, especially for a first year show. There was a good chance of rain that luckily stayed away and left us with a nice partly cloudy day to enjoy.

During the day we met some great people including Betsy from http://ladybugbeads.etsy.com and Xanthe from http://oddstuffbyXanthe.etsy.com.

Much thanks to Kim Geiser, owner of Persimmons and event coordinator, for hosting such a great event.

Pictured above you'll see just one of the great moments of the day. Darth Vader getting his picture taken while holding a bottle of our Moisturizing Body Spray! Our kids, especially our son, thought that was the coolest thing in the world when they saw the picture this morning.

Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of our own this time.

We do have another show this Saturday that we will make sure to bring our camera to. If you're in the Appleton area Saturday and would like to join us we'll be at:

SEPT. 13th - Grand Chute Parks Day - Grand Chute, WI - Indoor arts & crafts show. All handmade items highlighting Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas. family entertainment, continental breakfast, chili, brats, burgers & more for lunch, huge raffle. Grand Chute Town Hall, 1900 Grand Chute Boulevard. Event starts at 9:30AM and ends at 3:30PM.

Also, This morning Erin found our Coffee Sugar Scrub on the top of the front page after waking up to noticing skyrocketing item views.

Thank you so much 3dots.etsy.com for including us in your amazing coffee themed treasury!

Etsy Venus Zine Co-op Ad - Fall 2008 Issue

Today we also took a trip over to Barnes and Noble and found some copies of the fall 2008 issue of Venus Zine. Of course we couldn't get just one, so we got three copies.

We were very excited to see our Lemon Drop Soap on the right side of the ad only a few pages into the magazine right after the table of contents.

Our Coffee Sugar Scrub is supposed to be featured in a new magazine in Denver, CO as well in their premier issue in November. We'll be looking forward to seeing how that ends up. http://onemagdenver.com

Just stumbled across your blog, hello from a fellow Wisconsinite! I am in Twin Lakes, down by the IL border :) Your soaps are lovely!

Wow--Darth Vader!

Looks like a good show--and how fun that you ran into some fellow Etsyans!
